Flowers everywhere! The pure white wolf jumped around, tasting the air in her open mouth, feeling fresh, mildly damp grass underneath her paws, listening to the music coming from a bamboo flute, and the light-hearted chatter of the people around her. As she passed them, they all called out to her in different names. "Snowy" "Whitey" "Snowflake" "Poochie" "Cherie" "Puppy" "Pup" "Furball!!" The world faded into blackness. Flowers disappeared and the grass gave way to cold, hard, darkness. The fragrant smell of the wind was gone- there was nothing here. Nothing but her, and this large, dark labyrinth. She stopped running, her fur instantly on end. She could sense nothing, but snarled loudly anyway, voice echoing. That action yielded nothing. No reply, no following attack. It seemed she was all alone, now, in this empty space that was once a happy home to all. She had to restore it, somehow. She fixated on the space above her. No clouds, no sky. Nothing. But it would have to do. She used her powers, drawing a large circle in the "heavens" and ordering it to give light with long, loud howl. The darkness disappeared, leaving behind a vast whiteness behind, clouds appearing and framing the orb she had drawn. She went to work. The world was her canvas, after all. |
